VWI works towards better decisions impacting water in Lebanon through training the trainers that will implement the Y-adapt program.
Aim
Y-Adapt is a curriculum for young people that helps them to both understand climate change and to take practical action to adapt to the changing climate in their community.
Outcomes
• Trainings for trainers were given in Lebanon
• The Y-adapt program was translated into Arabic
• The trainers will train young people and lead to on-the-ground action to reconcile values and protect sources
• Training of Trainers for Y-adapt delivered in Lebanon with a regional engagement plan for the MENA region under development
